Xbox Mods

There is a big world of xbox mods that basically exploded as soon as Microsoft released its first console. Many of the mods are considered illegal by some, particularly certain chip mods that allow you to pirate games… other mods are about making your console look cool or literally keeping it running cool and not overheating. I have read a ton of articles on xbox mods and have found that while they may promote some <undesirable> activity in some cases, the phenomenon seems to be good for unit sales and game sales as people become more enthusiastic about their custom boxes.

The garden variety class of xbox mods that allows you to trick out the console, add lights, graphics and other effects to the exterior will be available for sale from time to time on this website, while the more envelope pushing systems, in particular the ones that violate your warranty, will just be informational only. We don’t want to upset the folks in Redmond!

We are also a steady source of news, commentary and lead information on new mods, games release dates and other specials that come up in the Xbox gaming world.  We are making the information available on Xbox Mods as we get it.

Feel free to contribute pics, stories or other mods you have come up with and we’ll profile them here on Xbox Mods. In short order we will start to offer some incentives and maybe some giveaways here n the site once things are up and running. Any ideas? Leave a comment or send an email.

Here are some key parts of the website you may want to visit:
